South Australian glassblower, Emma Young, creates charming "Prickly Pear" sculptures, celebrated for their whimsical forms and beautiful colour palettes.

Emma creates blown glass artwork exploring themes of nostalgia, shared experiences and pride in local icons. Emma enjoys exploring different techniques with each new developing work. Interpreting the cactus into blown glass leading to limitless combinations of colour and form. Emma admits she is a tragic green thumb, but "growing" glass plants that don't require watering is a treat for all!
